Position Overview:
As a key member of our dining team, you will:

  • Exhibit strong teamwork abilities.
  • Efficiently deliver food to tables in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and clear tables, maintain service stations, and assist servers to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Quickly remove dirty table settings and prepare tables for the next guests.
  • Consistently reset service ware as per standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and stock of service stations throughout meal periods.
  • Serve beverages and bread to enhance the dining experience.
  • Adhere to teamwork and cleanliness policies.
  • Transport dirty tableware to the dishwashing area.
  • Participate in monthly departmental meetings.
  • Follow established protocols for room service deliveries.
  • Memorize table and seat numbers for efficient service.
  • Complete opening and closing tasks as outlined for the food runner role.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A High School Diploma or GED.
  • Recommended experience in a restaurant setting, though not mandatory.
  • Clear communication skills with guests, supervisors, and colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays, primarily during dinner hours.
  • Ability to handle guest requests and resolve complaints effectively.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires:

  • Visual acuity and the ability to move across distances.
  • Lifting and carrying items up to 50 lbs.
  • Color perception and auditory skills.
  • Manual dexterity and the ability to push/pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Standing for extended periods and bending/stretching as needed.

Safety Requirements:
In accordance with OSHA regulations, the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory when performing tasks that may pose health or safety risks.

Mental/Reasoning Requirements:
This role involves:

  • Reading and comprehending simple and complex materials.
  • Basic math skills for operational tasks.
  • Effective writing and communication skills.
  • Judgment and decision-making capabilities.
