Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Restaurant Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including managing staff, inventory, and supplies.
  • Food Quality and Safety: Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards, and that all food safety and handling procedures are followed.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all customers have a positive experience in our restaurant.
  • Staff Management: Manage and train staff to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards of food quality and safety.
  • Inventory and Supplies: Manage inventory and supplies to ensure that the restaurant is always well-stocked and that waste is minimized.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control costs to ensure that the restaurant is operating within budget.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as a kitchen manager in a full-service, moderate to high volume restaurant or education.
  • Certifications: Food Handlers Card.
  • Skills: Proficient in using email, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office. Positive and professional attitude. Strong communication and ability to work cohesively with all levels of management, all departments, and all co-workers in a team. Basic cooking skills. Ability to stand for long periods of time. Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision, attention to detail, and speed.
