At the Good Samaritan Society, we're committed to providing high-quality care and service in a Christian environment. Our not-for-profit organization has been serving seniors for over 100 years, and we're looking for a dedicated Culinary Specialist to join our team at Watertown Harmony Hill.

The estimated salary for this position is between $16.00 and $23.50 per hour, based on industry standards and location.

About the Job

This role involves preparing, assembling, and cooking baked goods, as well as seasoning and portioning food for patients, staff, and visitors. You will work within guidelines of menu and dietary requirements, adhering to food quality standards of appearance, taste, temperature, and sanitation.

You will also perform washing and cleaning duties to ensure sanitation and cleanliness in cooking and serving areas, maintain labeling and storage of food, equipment, and machinery, and prepare and provide the highest quality and safest food possible.

Requirements
  • A minimum of six months of applicable experience is preferred.
  • Possesses ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions.
  • Ability to perform basic math.
