We are seeking a skilled Food Preparation Specialist to join our team at Watertown Harmony Hill in Watertown, SD. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality food to patients, residents, staff, and visitors.

About the Role

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $16.00 - $23.50 per hour. The successful candidate will have a minimum of six months of applicable experience and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.

The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, adhering to food quality standards and safety protocols. They will also be proficient in operating kitchen equipment and maintaining a clean and sanitary environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including baked goods, soups, and entrees
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Operate kitchen equipment, such as mixers, slicers, and ovens
  • Ensure accurate labeling and storage of food and supplies
  • Work effectively with internal customers, providing exceptional service and communication
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of six months of applicable experience in a food preparation or culinary role
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in operating kitchen equipment and maintaining a clean and sanitary environment
