Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Small Business Specialist I to join our team at TD Bank, N.A. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you will be responsible for deepening relationships with existing Small Business customers, ensuring equal access to banking products and services across all communities, and identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively engage with Small Business customers to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their goals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities, and develop strategic plans to achieve sales and revenue targets.
  • Conduct customer assessments and provide recommendations for product and service offerings to meet customer needs.
  • Work closely with the Small Business Credit Center and SBB product groups to ensure satisfactory customer response times for new credit applications.
  • Stay up-to-date on market trends, competitive offers, and economic conditions to provide expert advice to customers and drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of related experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a Small Business or commercial banking role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets, with a strong understanding of financial products and services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking (preferred).
