Key Responsibilities

As a New Business Manager at US Foods, you will be responsible for sourcing and developing profitable new business opportunities that can be transitioned to a Territory Manager. Your primary goal will be to achieve annual sales and profit operating plans by pursuing high-potential sales leads and converting them into US Foods customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing a sound business plan to capture and penetrate market share within the division's footprint
  • Producing new account revenue in line with current organization and individual targets and quotas
  • Utilizing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to focus on opening highest potential new accounts, sales dollars, and gross profit dollars of all new accounts

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years sales experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience opening accounts greater than $0.5m, preferably in the foodservice industry
  • Exceptional sales and interpersonal skills and proven ability to warm, convert, and close high-potential new street accounts

Education and Training

A High School diploma or equivalent is required, with a Bachelor's Degree preferred.
