Job Title: Corporate Counsel, Trademark, Intellectual Property

Are you passionate about protecting brands and intellectual property? We're seeking an experienced attorney to join our IP team as a Corporate Counsel, Trademark, Intellectual Property.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage trademark clearance, prosecution, maintenance, and enforcement for our growing US and foreign trademark portfolio.
  • Provide client counseling and licensing services.
  • Develop and implement intellectual property protection policies.
  • Educate and coach the business on intellectual property matters.

This role will be part of a dynamic team of IP professionals responsible for trademark, copyright, and domain issues globally.

Requirements:
  • A law degree and membership in good standing in at least one state bar or foreign equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in trademark law.
  • Experience managing a trademark portfolio, consisting of domestic and foreign marks.
  • Experience leading investigations and negotiations to resolve 3P trademark disputes.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Expert-level knowledge of trademark and copyright issues, and best practices for companies.
  • Ability to understand and resolve complex legal and business issues.
  • Ability to effectively translate IP issues to members of the creative, technology, business, management, and legal teams.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $123,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $229,000/year in our highest geographic market.

Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
