Field Installation Superintendent

Intralox, a leading provider of conveyor equipment solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Field Installation Superintendent to join our team.
This role requires a strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, with a focus on supervising the installation of large conveyance systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading teams and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the installation of conveyor systems and related equipment
- Lead mechanical assembly of conveyor systems and related equipment
- Direct office support personnel, field technicians, and mechanical sub-contractors to complete projects
- Communicate schedules, reports, and status updates with customers and supervisors
- Prepare and kit necessary equipment for shipment to job sites
- Review mechanical installation packages before executing in the field
- Assist with system commissioning and troubleshooting of field installations
- Lead daily safety talks with on-site crews and ensure proper documentation of safety trainings
- Track parts inventory on customer sites and maintain company supplied tool sets
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- At least five years of experience in field installation supervision of conveyors and sorters or related experience
- Previous experience in a lead capacity
- Ability to meet strict deadlines and prioritize work of others
- Strong organization skills and ability to effectively delegate work of teams
- Proficient with hand tools, powered tools, forklifts, vertical lifts, etc.
- Ability to fabricate parts as required
- Strong mechanical skills
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability and willingness to build professional relationships with engineering groups, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Self-managed individual who is a team player
- Knowledge of commonly-used installation, supervision, and field concepts, practices, and procedures
- Ability to travel extensively (80% or more), work weekends, holidays, and overtime when required
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and climb ladders
- Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner
- A valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous work experience in Manufacturing industry
- Previous experience with conveyors
- Ability to weld
- Knowledge of different types of structural steel
- Previous training experience
- Completion of OSHA 10 course

Salary Range: $68,000 to $110,500
