Field Mechanic

Under the direct supervision of the mechanic superintendent or foreman, provides skilled mechanical maintenance and repair services in addition to the following duties.
Key Responsibilities- Performs independently or as a team leader in the various skilled activities involved with mechanical maintenance.
- Acts as a contact with customers, assures the work is accomplished in a safe and efficient manner.
- Provides or obtains information, identify, or discover information and provide written summary of work performed.
- Basic computer skills and other duties as assigned.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Must be able to comprehend and pass various safety training modules.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, and talk or hear.
