Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Baker to join our team at Nothing Bundt Cakes. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality cakes are consistently produced for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow proprietary recipes and production methods with precision to achieve productivity goals.
  • Effectively utilize commercial-grade mixers and ovens to bake cakes.
  • Accurately prepare raw ingredients and equipment for baking, and monitor the baking process.
  • Adhere to proper packaging, labeling, and storage of baked cakes, and maintain baking and refrigeration logs.
  • Assist the Bakery Manager in developing cake production plans and monitoring inventory of baking supplies.
  • Evaluate raw ingredients and baked cakes to ensure quality standards are met, and inform management of any quality control issues.
  • Clean, sanitize, and restock the workstation, and ensure all baking supplies are prepared for the next shift.
Requirements
  • Ability to understand written and oral directions, interpret instructional documents, and apply knowledge to perform job responsibilities.
  • Ability to perform repetitious, physical tasks that require strength to lift items of moderate to heavy weight, and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to operate commercial-grade ovens and other bakery equipment, and work adjacent to a high-heat source.
  • Discipline and attention to detail to strictly adhere to health and safety practices and work environment standards.
  • Diligence, organization, and self-motivation to operate independently with minimal supervision.
