We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to enhance our global headquarters finance team. This position is pivotal in overseeing the execution of the budgeting process, conducting period-end reporting for both internal and external stakeholders, performing variance analysis, and developing financial models that support informed decision-making.

The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, analytical prowess, and effective communication abilities, along with a solid understanding of financial principles and manufacturing operations. A background in private equity and corporate finance is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee company-wide financial planning and analysis, providing strategic guidance to key stakeholders, including budget modeling and forecasting processes.
  • Lead the development of long-term financial plans in collaboration with business unit leaders, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives.
  • Create and maintain sophisticated financial models to inform critical business decisions.
  • Establish standardized methodologies and processes across various business units.
  • Consolidate analyses from business units and present findings to senior leadership.
  • Conduct price, volume, mix, and cost analyses compared to prior years and forecasts, offering insights into the underlying data.
  • Prepare analytical reports, commentary, and presentation materials for board meetings and executive leadership discussions.
  • Manage consolidation and reporting for price and inflation/deflation analyses.
  • Provide insightful commentary on financial outcomes, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Support requests from private equity firms, leadership teams, and cross-functional teams.
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the FP&A function to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
  • Contribute to special projects, providing data-driven insights and support.
  • Assist with mergers, acquisitions, and divestiture activities as needed.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Project Management: Ability to apply sound business judgment and analytical skills.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in complex financial analysis and data interpretation, with a drive to resolve inconsistencies and synthesize data into actionable insights.
  • Technology Proficiency: Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial planning software such as Hyperion HFM, Hyperion Planning, Oracle, and Tableau are preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
  • Business Partnership: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making while managing multiple tasks and projects effectively.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines, and handling multiple projects.
Minimum Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA preferred.

Experience: 5-7 years in progressively responsible roles in accounting or finance, with prior FP&A experience being a plus. Experience in public accounting or investment banking is also advantageous.

Working Conditions

Physical Requirements: Ability to sit comfortably with frequent opportunities to move about.
