As a pivotal member of the Event Services team, reporting directly to the Director of Event Services, your primary responsibilities will encompass a variety of essential functions aimed at driving catering sales and ensuring seamless event execution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Proactively seek and secure catering opportunities across diverse sectors, including social gatherings, cultural events, local corporate functions, and holiday celebrations.
2. Engage with clients to finalize event details, including banquet event orders, menu selections, and event timelines.
3. Assist in the preparation of necessary documentation, forecasts, and reports to monitor departmental performance.
4. Allocate appropriate venues for various events, ensuring optimal setup for meetings, dining, and other activities.
5. Create and maintain a targeted list of potential clients to drive new business initiatives.
6. Collaborate with team members to achieve budgetary objectives and departmental goals.
7. Adhere to the operational guidelines established within the Event Services Department.
8. Schedule appointments and conduct personal sales outreach to key contacts within the local catering market.
9. Participate in weekly sales meetings to discuss past performance and outline future outreach strategies.
10. Monitor and report on lead conversion rates, detailing the number of leads generated, bookings secured, catering revenue produced, and any associated room nights and revenue, if applicable.
11. Provide exceptional service for assigned bookings as directed by the Director of Event Services.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $85,000-$114,000 USD annually.
