About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility to join our team at Illumina. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving our sustainability and corporate social responsibility efforts forward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy that aligns with Illumina's business objectives and goals.
  • Lead the development of our corporate social responsibility and sustainability reports, ensuring transparency and accountability to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability and CSR principles into our business operations and supply chain.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including investors, customers, employees, and regulatory bodies, to promote transparency and confidence in our sustainability and CSR efforts.
  • Identify and manage environmental impact areas, such as climate action, carbon emissions, and sustainable facilities.
  • Lead the implementation of programs addressing sustainable value chain, sustainable products, and employee green teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, business, or sustainability.
  • 10+ years of experience in ESG and CSR, including proven experience building and advancing programs with advancing leadership responsibility.
  • Strong experience in ESG sustainability benchmark standards for reporting and certification, including the Science Based Targets initiative.
