Project Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Blue Ridge Executive Search. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional to take on a challenging role and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and control all elements of engineering and construction projects
  • Supervise project development and implementation, including facility upgrades and other project-related work
  • Review project plans and proposals, and work with management to develop project objectives
  • Identify project responsibilities, calculate time frames, and sequence project elements
  • Prepare and distribute project descriptions and timelines
  • Study product design, customer requirements, and performance standards to determine project specifications
  • Present cost estimates and performance standards, and conduct tests to ensure safe and satisfactory product performance
  • Review contractor bids, interview and assign personnel to project phases and elements
  • Oversee and coordinate project technical aspects through project coordination meetings and other forms of communication
  • Prepare status reports, monitor budgets, contractors, and schedules, and allocate project resources appropriately
  • Maintain accurate records and electronic databases of project elements
  • Present procedures, rules, and regulations to project team members, and maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment
  • Maintain project integrity and reputation by complying with state and federal regulations

Requirements:

  • Strong project management skills, with experience in engineering and construction projects
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
