AAC Inc is seeking a proficient individual to fill the role of Cybersecurity Incident and Application Analyst. This position is integral to the NIH's Center of Information Technology's (CIT) Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Cybersecurity Operations contract.
As a Cybersecurity Incident and Application Analyst, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and improving the RMF and cybersecurity performance associated with the contract's network and cloud requirements. Your ability to manage expectations from customers, employees, vendors, and partners will be essential to the success of this initiative and the reputation of AAC Inc.
This position requires a deep understanding of federal network, cloud, application, and cybersecurity solutions and protocols, coupled with strong analytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise in designing and deploying tools for the interception and inspection of network and email traffic, as well as Endpoint technology for workstations and servers.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of industry best practices and standards, particularly in conducting compromise assessments.
- Possess familiarity with security software solutions such as Tenable, Splunk, and BigFix.
- Engage with clients at a high level, generate progress reports, and maintain a comprehensive understanding of security engineering, network engineering, penetration testing, and the evaluation of security controls, ensuring compliance with relevant security policies and directives.
Preferred Qualifications:
- E|CIH certification.
- OSCP certification.
- GCIH certification.
- Splunk certifications.
- Experience with HHS, NIH, NLM, or CIT is advantageous but not mandatory.
