Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Threat Analyst to join our Threat and Vulnerability Management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security vulnerabilities.

Your primary focus will be on gaining hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques, participating in security incident simulations, and assisting in creating reports on vulnerabilities and security threats.

You will also have the opportunity to participate in training programs, workshops, and on-the-job learning opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills related to the field or industry of the internship.

Additionally, you will be responsible for collaborating with colleagues, supervisors, and other stakeholders to effectively communicate progress, challenges, and ideas, and actively participating in team meetings or discussions.

As a Cybersecurity Threat Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work on projects that provide opportunity to collaborate with other interns as well as associates in other departments, ranging from data analysis to mentors.

You will be expected to identify and resolve issues or challenges that arise during the internship, demonstrating problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to finding solutions.

Finally, you will be responsible for developing business skills in communication and shadowing other professionals, maintaining accurate records, documenting progress, and preparing reports or presentations as required by the internship program or supervisors.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) and/or commensurate experience.
  • Either actively enrolled in an academic institution in pursuit of a degree in a relevant course of study or is a recent college graduate in in Cybersecurity (preferred), Information Security & Assurance (preferred), Computer Forensics (preferred), Network Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Cloud Computing, typically having attained a degree within the past 12 months.
  • Python and Network course work preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and a driving record that conforms to company standards'
