Job Summary

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse - Infusion to join our team at UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central. As an RN Infusion, you will provide direct patient care in an outpatient infusion/apheresis setting, utilizing the nursing process to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care related to infusion services based on patient assessment.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
  • Evaluate learning needs of patients and/or families and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
  • Effectively delegate patient care to ancillary personnel.
  • May precept student nurses and new hires.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than 3 years' experience.
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
  • ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy certification (6 months for new hires and 1 year for new grads).
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
