Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Infusion team at UCHealth. As an RN, you will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced infusion setting, utilizing the nursing process to optimize patient outcomes and maximize available resources.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients receiving infusion therapy.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, medication administration, and treatment outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including transfer, discharge, and referral needs.
  • Provide patient and family education on infusion therapy, medication management, and self-care techniques.
  • Delegate patient care to ancillary personnel, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited or state-approved Registered Nursing program.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado.
  • 6 months of nursing experience, preferably in an infusion setting.
  • ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy certification (6 months for new hires, 1 year for new grads).
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
