Job Title: RN Infusion

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Oncology Infusion department at Memorial Hospital Central. As an RN Infusion, you will provide direct patient care in an outpatient infusion setting, utilizing the nursing process to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care related to infusion services based on patient assessment.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
  • Evaluate learning needs of patients and/or families and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
  • Effectively delegate patient care to ancillary personnel.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited or state board of nursing approved Registered/Professional Nursing program.
  • State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • 6 months of nursing (RN) experience.
  • ONS chemotherapy/biotherapy certification (6 months for new hires and 1 year for new grads).
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
