Currently, our client is seeking a meticulous Property Finance Specialist to become part of their vibrant team. Reporting directly to the CFO, the successful candidate will oversee daily financial operations for a real estate portfolio, particularly focusing on multifamily properties. This position provides a hybrid work model, allowing for close collaboration with senior leadership and the opportunity to gain significant industry experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily financial operations, including accounts payable review, cash management, and processing wire transfers.
  • Oversee the monthly general ledger closing process and prepare necessary documentation, ensuring precision and compliance.
  • Compile monthly financial reporting packages for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage cash flow forecasts to align with operational and investor requirements.
  • Work alongside the real estate team to formulate and maintain annual budgets.
  • Review tax submissions and ensure consistency with financial records.
  • Prepare local and state tax filings as needed.

Ideal Candidates Will Possess:

  • 1-3 years of financial experience, ideally within the real estate sector.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with an emphasis on prioritization and time management.
  • Analytical thinking and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills.
  • Familiarity with Yardi or comparable real estate general ledger systems is preferred.

Compensation Package:

  • Base salary range of $75,000 - $85,000
