PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Deliver prompt and efficient service to guests while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Ensure that beverage service is attentive, keeping water glasses filled throughout the meal.
  • Possess thorough knowledge of the daily menu and be able to communicate offerings effectively.
  • Assist in clearing tables and removing dishware as needed during service.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including resetting tables and booths meticulously.
  • Uphold a tidy, safe, and comfortable environment for all patrons.
  • Complete all pre-shift, in-service, and post-shift side-work duties as required.
  • Facilitate a steady flow of dirty dishes to the kitchen while ensuring clean supplies are available in the dining area.
  • Understand and meet performance expectations consistently.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be at least 18 years old. Previous experience in a restaurant setting is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage service is essential.
  • Exhibit professionalism and maintain a well-groomed appearance.
  • Strong communication skills and a cheerful demeanor are necessary for effective teamwork.
  • Demonstrate integrity and uphold standards in a regulated environment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods (minimum of four hours).
  • Exhibit a sense of urgency in completing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to navigate various areas of the establishment, including multiple floors.
  • Must be capable of lifting, carrying, or pushing a minimum of 40 lbs.
  • Physical ability to stoop, kneel, bend, twist, turn, push, pull, and grasp objects.
  • Tolerance for environments with secondhand smoke, dust, loud noises, and bright lights.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
