Job Overview

TECHEAD is seeking a highly organized Content Manager to support the acquisition, management, and reporting of research materials. This role involves ensuring accurate documentation, metadata quality, and preparing detailed reports and bibliographies.

About the Role
  • Research Material Acquisition: Execute targeted searches on various topics, obtain electronic copies of materials from designated resources, and track the status of large sets of acquired items over time.
  • Database Management: Upload acquired materials into a centralized platform, ensuring accurate metadata entry, including bibliographic and other relevant information.
  • Status Updates and Notifications: Provide regular updates on material acquisition progress and notify relevant stakeholders when items are unavailable electronically due to restrictions.
  • Metadata Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks on all metadata entries to ensure accuracy and alignment with templates.

This role requires a strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as library science, information technology, or a related field.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with relational databases or document review platforms.
  • Proficiency with citation management tools like EndNote.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
