Research Aerogel Synthesis Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Aerogel Synthesis Specialist to join our team at the Virginia Commonwealth University. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing sol-gel synthesis of aerogel materials with a focus on phenolic chemistry.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct sol-gel synthesis of aerogel materials, emphasizing phenolic chemistry.
- Maintain existing equipment used for drying aerogels, including vacuum pumps, pressure lines, and pressure regulators.
To be eligible for this role, applicants must hold a Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field. Additionally, they must be eligible to work in the United States.
Compensation and BenefitsThe estimated salary range for this position is $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
