Control Systems Engineering Specialist

Position Overview: Wessler Engineering is actively seeking a Control Systems Engineering Specialist to join our team. This role is integral to our project teams, focusing on the design and implementation of Instrumentation and Control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Engineering Analyses and prepare Preliminary Engineering Reports related to control systems.
- Develop comprehensive I&C and SCADA Asset Management Plans.
- Assist in the formulation of SCADA Master Plans.
- Design and implement I&C systems for industrial water applications, utilizing sensors, transmitters, actuators, PLCs, and SCADA technologies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of I&C systems with existing infrastructure.
- Create and review Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) and Control Single Line Diagrams.
- Prepare Project Manual Specifications and coordinate project deliverables across various disciplines.
- Manage project timelines and resources in consultation with the Project Manager, ensuring that all deadlines are met.
- Monitor project progress against established schedules and budgets.
- Review all project work for technical accuracy and compliance with company standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Preferred candidates will have successfully completed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
- Experience with industrial instrumentation and control systems.
- Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong communication skills, with an emphasis on clarity and professionalism.
