We are in search of a motivated individual to fill the role of Accounts Receivable Specialist. This position is integral to our financial operations, where the selected candidate will leverage their expertise to manage accounts receivable tasks across various business divisions and our corporate headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be tasked with:

  • Managing accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
  • Processing invoices generated from sales orders
  • Submitting open invoices
  • Handling bill payments based on purchase orders
  • Executing journal entries as required
  • Preparing AP/AR aging reports
  • Assisting with month-end bank reconciliations
  • Monitoring financial activities weekly to facilitate month-end closing
  • Supporting month-end closing processes
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar ERP systems
  • 2-4 years of experience in accounts receivable and/or accounts payable
  • High proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
  • A professional demeanor and a collaborative spirit
  • Excellent communication skills for interaction with both internal and external stakeholders
  • An Associate's Degree in Business or Accounting (required)
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting (preferred)
Physical Requirements

Candidates should be prepared for:

  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • The ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
