The role of an Electrical Engineer at KBSO Consulting LLC encompasses a variety of essential functions aimed at ensuring the efficiency and safety of electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and analyze electrical systems, components, and applications by leveraging expertise in power distribution.
- Create detailed electrical designs for lighting, power, and alarm systems that adhere to industry standards and client specifications.
- Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications to guarantee compliance with regulatory codes.
- Facilitate cross-disciplinary collaboration on MEPT components utilizing Revit and AutoCAD software.
- Support and mentor fellow electrical engineering team members.
- Enhance professional knowledge through participation in workshops, reading industry publications, and engaging with professional networks.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients, both verbally and in writing, ensuring clarity and relevance.
- Conduct site assessments to evaluate existing conditions for ongoing projects.
- Perform on-site inspections to verify that installations meet design specifications.
- Address contractor inquiries and review project documentation for accuracy.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Prioritize timely and precise completion of project milestones.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of six years of relevant experience in the field.
- Possession of a valid driver's license is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Revit MEP and AutoCAD software.
- Ability to maintain or acquire a Professional Engineer License.
