Progressive Care Unit Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Progressive Care Unit Nurse to join our team at Corewell Health Trenton Hospital. As a member of our progressive care unit, you will provide high-quality patient care to individuals with complex medical needs.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with acute and chronic conditions, including those requiring telemetry monitoring and advanced life support.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identify potential complications, and implement interventions to prevent or manage them.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and provide education to patients and families to promote optimal health outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- Current RN licensure in Michigan required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months.
- 1 year of experience as an RN in the ICU preferred.
