RN Progressive Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Progressive Care team at Corewell Health Trenton Hospital. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality patient care to individuals with complex medical needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with acute and chronic conditions, including those requiring telemetry monitoring and invasive assessment/interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patient-centered care and optimal outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based guidelines in progressive care nursing.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and quality, identifying and reporting potential risks and near misses to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; BSN preferred.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Michigan required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire.
- 1 year of experience as an RN in the ICU or progressive care setting preferred.
