Position Title:
HSE Assessment Coordinator

Make a Meaningful Impact:


Reporting directly to the Program Director, the HSE Assessment Coordinator is responsible for planning, administering, overseeing, and maintaining the HiSet testing policies and procedures for HSE Academy students as mandated by the program. This role involves collecting relevant student data and preparing necessary reports, as well as providing tutoring support as needed and assisting instructors.


Key Responsibilities:
Manages the HiSet predictor testing process, including record maintenance.


Facilitates all predictor testing procedures and generates official test lists for HiSet testing across all HSE Academy campuses. This includes collaborating with campus Coordinators to ensure student attendance during official testing and reporting outcomes for HSE campuses.

Effectively communicates data compilation to relevant stakeholders.

Collaborates with the Program Director, HSE Instructors, and HSE Coordinators to create remediation activities related to subject content.


Monitors official high school equivalency scores from the HiSet website, distributes testing results, and develops annual exam schedules in partnership with the testing center's Chief Examiner.

Researches and proposes new testing policies and procedures relevant to existing and upcoming exams as necessary.

Evaluates, reports, and analyzes testing effectiveness and outcomes as required.

Participates in all campus student status meetings.


Assists in ensuring that students adhere to appropriate standards of conduct, such as dress code when applicable.

Refers students to other college personnel or departments as necessary.


Supports instructors with HSE students regarding testing center protocols and confirms students' upcoming official exams.

Identifies at-risk students and assists in proctoring exams as needed.

Demonstrates stewardship of college facilities and resources.

Attends and engages in all HSE Academy meetings as required.


Complies with college policies and procedures, serving as a role model for staff and students through guidance and example.

Maintains regular and punctual attendance, ensuring that work hours and time-off are accurately recorded.


Conducts job responsibilities in alignment with the standards outlined in the College's Code of Ethical Conduct, Compliance Agreement, Sexual Harassment Policy, and all applicable federal and state laws, as well as professional standards.

Maintains established departmental policies and procedures, and participates in required meetings and training sessions.

Ensures confidentiality of all student, associate, and college information as required.

May perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum & Preferred Qualifications:

Required:
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Bachelor's degree required.

Experience & Skills:

Required:
Proficiency in MS Office and PowerPoint.

Familiarity with relevant databases and computer applications to provide accurate information, reports, and projections.

Ability to demonstrate comprehensive, accurate, and practical knowledge of the field.

Proven ability to analyze and interpret data.

Competence in operating related equipment and machines for instructional purposes.

Ability to manage and work effectively within a diverse student and associate community.

Strong oral and written communication skills, including effective listening and presentation abilities.

Capability to utilize interpersonal skills, follow through on responsibilities, pay attention to detail, and motivate others.Ability to employ creative facilitation and conflict resolution skills to address challenging and sensitive issues.

Self-directed, able to manage multiple tasks and perform well under pressure from deadlines and competing priorities.

Ability to engage with individuals at all organizational levels.

Sound judgment and decision-making skills.

Ability to interpret rules, regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance.

Demonstrated customer service skills and the ability to maintain effective working relationships.

Willingness to work a flexible schedule.

Preferred:
One to two years of professional experience in testing and/or statistical data management preferred.

Experience in promoting and coordinating activities that assist students in preparing for the high school equivalency exam preferred.

Project management experience is a plus.

Bilingual skills are advantageous but not mandatory.

Salary Range:
