Job Summary

As a Sanitation Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment in our warehouse. This includes sweeping and cleaning the entire warehouse, emptying trash bins, and performing light maintenance duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sweep and clean the warehouse to maintain a high level of cleanliness
  • Empty trash bins and clean the trash area daily
  • Perform light maintenance duties as assigned, including replacement of light bulbs and collection of recyclable materials
  • Prepare reports and forms to document cleaning schedules and product damage
  • May clean other areas of the warehouse and offices, including break rooms, rest rooms, and test kitchens

Requirements:

  • High school education or GED preferred
  • Previous custodial experience preferred
  • Able to read and write legibly, follow orders, and perform basic mathematical skills
  • Experience in operation of warehouse equipment, including reach trucks, pallet jacks, and floor scrubbers

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to push/pull, climb/balance, stoop/squat, and bend

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The ideal candidate will be able to work with minimal supervision and have a strong attention to detail.
