Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Program Coordinator to join our team at the University of North Carolina Charlotte. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing senior administrative support to the Finance, Quality, and Business Operations unit, with a focus on fiscal management, research and development, business and office administration, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer departmental programs, including apprenticeship programs, and manage departmental funding sources.
  • Assist with procurement functions, purchasing card activities, and develop reporting tools such as complex spreadsheets, revenue and expense tracking, and monthly reports.
  • Serve as a Financial Account Manager within Facilities Management and manage the department's website content and messaging.
  • Draft specialized publications, charts, representations, reports, and customer communication tools, as assigned.
  • Assist in the development of new unit strategic initiatives, create and update strategy maps, balanced scorecards, and monitor unit KPIs, strategic goals, and performance metrics.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Proven track record of excellent customer service and experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably within a higher education setting.
  • Knowledge and skill with Google Applications and Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate or advanced skills in using Excel.
  • Ability to learn university systems and procedures, including 49er Mart, Concur, Banner Finance, and ARCHIBUS.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduation from a four-year college or university.
  • Demonstrated experience in a higher education setting, with a focus on customer service, communication, and analytical skills.
