Under the guidance of the department's Director, the NAC/Unit Secretary plays a crucial role in managing clerical duties, facilitating ongoing communication, and performing data entry tasks for the department. This position operates under the direct supervision of a registered nurse, providing age-appropriate direct patient care. The NAC/Unit Secretary is committed to delivering quality care in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to the unit's established standards.
The ideal candidate will exhibit performance that aligns with the mission, philosophy, and objectives of both the unit and the organization. Flexibility in adapting to changing systems is essential, along with a commitment to quality and effectiveness in work habits and clinical practice. Respectful treatment of staff, physicians, patients, and families is paramount.
Qualifications:
- Current Washington State NAC certification
- 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience
- BLS certification
- High School Diploma or equivalent
