Product Development Manager

About the Role:
Flexjet is revolutionizing the aviation industry with innovative technology, and we're seeking a Product Manager to drive this transformation. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for overseeing product development, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless delivery of product features.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sprint Participation and Support: Participate in sprint planning sessions, support the definition of sprint goals, and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver product features on time.
- Backlog Assistance: Assist in prioritizing and maintaining the product backlog, ensuring it aligns with the product roadmap and addresses user and stakeholder needs effectively.
- Release Support: Coordinate aspects of release planning and execution, including setting release dates and defining release content, under the mentorship of senior product managers.
- Cross-functional Teamwork: Engage in collaboration with engineering, design, and marketing teams to support the development, launch, and promotion of product features.
- Advocate for User Needs: Assist in gathering and incorporating user feedback and usability testing results into the product development process to support a user-centric product strategy.
- Monitor and Report Performance: Help monitor product performance against established metrics, supporting the analysis and leveraging data to recommend product improvements.
- Communicate with Stakeholders: Contribute to clear communication of product progress, sprint outcomes, and release updates to stakeholders, fostering transparency and ensuring alignment within the team and with external partners.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in business, communication, or a related field.
- 1-3 years as a Product/Program/Project Management or Business Analyst.
- Experience interacting with IT and Business leaders.
- Able to translate technical documentation for business consumption and understanding.
- Experience in building and shipping applications of software.
Preferred & Desired Skills:
- Experience in Aviation, Transportation, Travel, or Maintenance Industries.
- An entrepreneurial mentality that is comfortable with ambiguity and can drive a vision to fruition is essential.
- Able to excel in an Agile work environment.
- Excels at using data to inform decisions.
- Adept at identifying trends and optimizing product performance.
- Exhibits exceptional creative problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and techniques.
- Pays exceptional attention to detail.
- Possesses excellent organizational skills and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Sensitive to the needs of customers while managing expectations of internal customers.
- Strong team player. Values relationships with other team members.
- Candidate should be self-motivated, able to thrive in a startup-like environment, and demonstrate a drive to build and manage relationships.
