Speech Language Pathologist PRN Specialist

The Speech Language Pathologist PRN Specialist will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and conduct individualized therapy programs for patients with communication, cognitive, and/or swallowing impairments.
- Coordinate Speech Language Pathology care for patients with acute medical needs, resulting in cognitive, swallowing, or language deficits.
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, and responses to speech language pathology interventions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver a team approach to patient care.
- Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology is required.
- Speech Language Pathologist License issued by the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology is required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) by the American Speech and Hearing Association is required.
- 1 year of experience in a Speech Therapy Setting: Acute, Inpatient Rehab, Pediatrics, or Outpatient setting is preferred.
- Current BLS certification is required.
