About the Role

This finance internship is an exciting opportunity to work with Akamai, a leading technology company that powers and protects life online. As a Finance Intern, you will be responsible for assisting with financial reporting, developing budgets and forecasts, and identifying process improvement opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reporting and in-depth customer or product analysis
  • Develop annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and outlooks, and resource planning analysis
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and gain support to implement necessary improvements with the team
  • Generate business presentations for senior Finance management, including a final showcase presentation
  • Perform industry analyses to develop operational best practices and update internal documentation
Requirements
  • Currently studying in a Bachelor's degree program in a Business-related field
  • Planning to graduate between December 2025 and July 2026
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Prior internship experience in financial analysis or a related area
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Self-starter, excited about working in an entrepreneurial, quick environment
