Designing Exceptional User Experiences at Yahoo

As a Principal Product Designer at Yahoo, you will be part of a team that embodies community, honesty, humility, and trust. We are passionate about creating exceptional, thoughtfully executed experiences that meet user needs and align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and user requirements into design-driven solutions.
  • Lead the design of new product features and enhancements from ideation to launch.
  • Work with UXR to conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to inform design decisions.
  • Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.
  • Present design concepts and user insights to stakeholders and effectively incorporate feedback.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience designing digital products, with a focus on UX/UI design.
  • A portfolio of work demonstrating expertise in designing successful commerce experiences.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, design thinking, and methodologies.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

The compensation for this position ranges from $128,000 to $266,875 per year, depending on factors such as your location, skills, and experience. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions, in addition to equity incentives.
