Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Technical Product Manager to join our team at Vanguard. As a key member of our Polaris program, you will contribute to the modernization of our Enterprise Investment Product (EIP) application, focusing on removing our mainframe footprint and enhancing consumer access to quality product data through the cloud.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical product management services on a product, applying functional technical expertise to improve product results and participate in the design and continuous improvement of the technical solution.
  • Coach technical product teams towards standard processes and takeaways, ensuring delivery of messaging, communication, and customer outreach as necessary.
  • Partner with collaborators to resolve production and implementation issues in a timely manner and support/drive escalations where required to enable rapid delivery.
  • Lead the planning, development, and implementation of a new technical product, defining and analyzing technical markets, developing detailed product features and requirements, and developing implementation plans.
  • Employ a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continually improve the user experience.
  • Participate in and provide recommendations for ongoing business planning and departmental prioritization activities.
  • Participate in the team's engineering practices in development, continuous integration, and automated deployment.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Minimum of three years related work experience.
  • Two years of managing a project preferred. Financial Services or function-specific experience preferred.
  • Experience with developing product strategy, roadmap, and leading product backlog prioritization.
  • Proven ability to influence strategy for one or more agile teams.
  • Understanding of how to measure product health with OKRs and engaging with product stakeholders.
