Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  2. Experience: 2-3 years of experience in healthcare accounting, with proficiency in PC software and related tools.
  3. Licenses and Certifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification preferred.
  4. Equipment and Tools: Proficiency in calculator, personal computer software, telephone, copier, and fax.
  5. Specialized Skills: Proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing software, working knowledge of accounting principles and functions, ability to compile financial statements, reports, and analysis, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to lead and manage a group of employees, and ability to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
  6. Physical Requirements: Ability to handle various office reports, notebooks, files, or file folders on a daily basis, occasional use of year-to-date/cumulative type reports requiring lifting of approximately 15-20 pounds, manual dexterity and visual acuity necessary to utilize the PC and calculator, visual acuity also necessary for filing and proofing documents, ability to sit for prolonged periods of time, verbal communications and hearing ability to communicate with a multitude of customers, and ability to meet the attendance requirements of the job.
