Job Summary

We are seeking a Guest Experience Attendant to join our team at Golden Corral. As a Guest Experience Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests have a pleasurable dining experience. This includes maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the bar areas, floors, and restrooms during peak periods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist guests by being able to describe all menu offerings and where they are located on the buffet.
  • Ensure that products are available and inquire of back of house coworkers when they will have product available.
  • Offer assistance to any guests who may need help and assist guests at the buffets when requested.
  • Be friendly and courteous with guests at all times.
  • Clean and maintain top and front of bar areas to ensure guests have perception of a clean restaurant.
  • Check, lightly clean, and stock the restrooms. Inform the utility person or a manager when additional cleaning and/or maintenance is required.
  • Pick up and dispose of any trash visible to guests.
  • Sweep and clean floor areas in and around the buffet.
  • Perform duty roster and pleasurable dining experience responsibilities.
  • Follow local health department laws.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of Safe Tracks, Golden Corral's Co-worker Food Safety and Sanitation course, and position certification through Golden Corral's Co-worker training program.
  • Experience in food preparation preferred, but not required.
  • Proof of food handler certification may be required for individuals in applicable states.
Work Environment

The Guest Experience Attendant will work in a fast-paced team environment, standing and walking for 3-4+ hours without a rest break. Regular, moderate-to-heavy lifting and carrying; bending and reaching is required. Work environment requires the use of tools such as mops, brooms, mop buckets, and carts, and a forceful grip is required for the use of these tools.
