Job Description Summary

At Becton, Dickinson and Company, we are seeking a highly skilled HR Director to join our Global Quality and EHS&S team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives that drive business results and support our company's mission to advance the world of health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement organizational effectiveness and development strategies to drive business results and support our company's mission.
  • Partner with QA and EHS&S leaders to advise, facilitate, and champion talent management strategies to ensure strong succession pipelines for critical roles.
  • Identify opportunities and guide leaders to fill competency gaps through talent acquisition and talent development.
  • Support talent development, people engagement, training plan, and upscale of QA/EHS&S associate skill set.
  • Provide strategic HR advisory support for complex HR issues and activities, such as RIF.
  • Monitor and address attrition and retention proactively and work closely with AccessHR to understand leading and lagging indicators for observed trends.
  • Develop and define associate separation strategy.
  • Manage severance for group separations in partnership with AccessHR, ASC, Legal, etc.
Requirements
  • BS/BA degree in Business Administration, HR Management or related field required.
  • Advanced degree (MBA/ Masters in HR or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Professional of Human Resources (PHR/SPHR) Certifications or equivalent are a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years professional experience in HR, with key HR Generalist Leadership roles that required change management, strategic business partnering, organizational effectiveness/development, employment law, positive employee relations among others.
  • Global experience is preferred.
  • Experience working in mid/large complex environments and matrixed organization is preferred.
  • Experience in organizational design & change management is preferred.
  • Plant HR experience is a plus.
