Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee patient check-in, registration, and checkout processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Listen to and respond to patient and family member concerns, routing issues to appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Respond to patient questions and complaints, providing timely and effective resolutions.
  • Analyze daily administrative operations and utilization of resources to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist with Medic user issues and ensure proper cash controls are in place.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum of 1 year of lead/supervisory experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
  • Satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is required for this position.
Preferred Skills
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
  • 1+ years of medical front office experience preferred.
  • Prior authorization experience preferred.
  • Inbound call experience preferred.
  • Customer service experience in a medical or professional setting preferred.
  • Ability to float to multiple locations for coverage highly preferred.
Work Environment

Elevance Health operates in a Hybrid Workforce Strategy. Associates are required to work at an Elevance Health location at least once per week, and potentially several times per week. Specific requirements and expectations for time onsite will be discussed as part of the hiring process.
