About the PositionWe are seeking an experienced VP of Leave Management Solutions to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of leave management compliance, vendor solutions, and best practices, as well as a proven track record of building a leave management practice for scale.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a subject matter expert for leave management and leave management solutions team operations, both internally and externally.
- Provide functional area expertise to support P&L management in collaboration with executive leadership.
- Coach and mentor individuals on the team and empower and enable their career development.
- Build relationships with internal colleagues as well as external broker, vendor, TPA, and carrier partners.
- Ensure team adherence to best practices, processes, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Drive scalability and integration across cross-functional teams and ensure alignment to overall business goals and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support capacity modeling in collaboration with business operations and leadership to ensure appropriate staffing.
- Own strategy and manage execution of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage key broker, vendor, TPA, and carrier relationships as needed, including day-to-day inquiries related to leave administration and compliance, vendor RFPs, and implementation.
- Bachelor's degree or higher.
- 2+ years' experience leading a leave management practice with a demonstrated ability to lead a team with integrity, authenticity, and empathy.
- 5+ years in leave management solutions role within carrier, vendor, or TPA organization.
- Proven track record with scaling a leave management operation to enable P&L growth.
- Deep understanding of leave administration compliance, leave management vendors/TPAs, integrated carrier offerings, and state-mandated disability compliance.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable with organizational change and balancing competing priorities.

This is a 100% remote position working in your local time zone. Access to a local office may be available upon request.
Salary TransparencyThe expected salary range for this position is $200,000-$250,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate's skills, experience, and working location, as well as the specific position's business line, scope, and level.
