Concierge Job Summary

At Montage International, we are seeking a skilled Concierge to join our team. As a Concierge, you will be responsible for ensuring a wonderful guest experience through excellent customer service. This role plays an integral part in the guest's stay, as the Concierge is often one of the first individuals that a guest interacts with.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet guests with a friendly and sincere welcome, setting the tone for a memorable stay.
  • Provide information and assistance to guests regarding city and hotel attractions or points of interest, enhancing their overall experience.
  • Book reservations for guests both within the resort and at outside facilities, ensuring seamless planning and execution.
  • Properly log guests' requests and perform follow-up with guests, demonstrating attention to detail and a commitment to satisfaction.
  • Familiarize yourself with each day's arrival and group activities, staying informed and prepared to meet guests' needs.
  • Maintain communication with Reception and other departments regarding guest activity or special needs as necessary, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Ensure any incoming and outgoing packages are logged and delivered appropriately, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Monitor and schedule Hotel Driver and book guest transportation with Hotel's contracted vendor, ensuring efficient and reliable transportation services.
Requirements:
  • College degree preferred, with a minimum of two years' experience in an upscale hotel or customer service role.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette, exceptional guest recovery skills, and strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Must possess a positive attitude, be willing to participate in a learning environment, and integrate company values throughout all interactions.
  • Must be able to quickly and effectively adapt to using new software products and be dependable and available to work within the hotel on weekends, nights, and/or holidays based on business demands.
Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand for an extended period of time, approximately six hours, and perform tasks that require manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, and climbing.

The pay scale for Concierge is $22.00, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and the like, that Montage reasonably expects to pay for the position.
