We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal Injury Attorney to join our team at Legal Help in Colorado - Ross Ziev P.C.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law, with a proven track record of success in handling complex cases. The successful candidate will work closely with our clients, administrative staff, and senior partners to provide exceptional legal services.

Responsibilities
  • Build and manage client cases, ensuring that all client injuries, damages, and other losses are thoroughly documented and presented for maximum recovery.
  • Develop and implement strategic approaches to case management, providing leadership and direction to paralegals and legal assistants.
  • Analyze case-specific legal issues and documentation, including insurance policies, lien language, and settlement releases.
  • Regularly consult with clients, adjusters, experts, and other parties to effectively move cases forward to settlement.
  • Foster and maintain excellent relationships with clients through consistent communication and thorough advisement.
  • Appear on virtual and in-person depositions and hearings, arguing motions in court on behalf of clients.
  • Prepare various legal documents, including motions, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence.
  • Determine case strategies and solutions to serve clients' needs after analysis.
  • Oversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
  • Must have prior litigation experience or involvement in law school trial team activity or civil litigation clinic activities; trial experience is preferred.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in Colorado.
  • Must be in good standing with the Colorado BAR Association.
  • Graduation from law school with Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree.
  • Jobseekers should be a member of their local bar association - active member preferred.
  • One year of experience representing clients in a law firm.
  • Must be able to handle heavy caseloads with little supervision.
  • Public speaking, decision-making, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are necessary for this role.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.
