We are looking for a unique blend of exceptional customer service skills, analytical competencies, and medical billing for bodily injury claims. Responsibilities:Collect, organize, and evaluate medical documentation to conduct analysis and develop reportable evaluation of medical coding compliance and value of chargesInvestigate missing components of data to determine and carry out appropriate additional processesReconcile billed charges with medical record documentationIdentify, analyze, and interpret patterns within complex medical dataConsistently implement AccuMed analysis methodologies and processesEngage in frequent phone communication with paralegals and attorneys to clearly explain methodologies, analysis results, product offerings, and status updatesResearch and apply medical coding guidance and AccuMed code review methodologiesCollaborate with Expert Witnesses to process and generate documentsManage case timelines and prioritization of tasksWork with Client Success Manager to obtain, report, and analyze client feedbackSkills and Qualifications (not limited to):Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsKnowledge and experience in medical billing/coding and/or bodily injury claimsAbility to understand and execute on detailed processes, with strong critical thinking skills to bridge the gap between the ideal and the realityExcellent interpersonal skills with collaborative, positive mindsetAbility to prioritize workload and meet deadlinesRespectful and supportive of colleagues; positive contribution to the team and cultureIntermediate Excel skillsEducation: Bachelor's degree requiredRelevant Certifications/Experience:Medical Billing/Coding CertificationCPC, CPB, CIC, CPMACCS, CCA, CHDAMedical Billing Specialist, Medical Claims Adjuster, Medical Billing Analyst, Revenue Cycle Management, Medical Claims ProcessorData Analytics Certification with knowledge/experience in healthcare data or medical billingGoogle, IBM, MetaWe Offer:Health, Vision, Dental Insurance401K MatchCell phone contribution of $75/monthGenerous vacation policy (15 days/year to start)Company holidaysWFH WednesdaysSummer Friday Office Hours
