Position Overview

The Overnight Facility Attendant is a role focused on task completion, involving end-of-day responsibilities, moderate guest interaction, and ensuring the upkeep of a clean and secure environment at all times. Key responsibilities encompass custodial duties, maintenance tasks, repairs, event setups, and overall service to uphold the functionality of the facility.

Work Schedule:

1. Sunday 12:30pm-10:00pm & Monday/Tuesday 2:30pm-12:00am (27 hours)

2. Thursday/Friday/Saturday: 2:30pm-12:00am (27 hours)

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure cleanliness and safety across all areas to provide users with a secure and effective service.
  • Supervise, monitor, and maintain the cleanliness of Locker Rooms and Cabanas.
  • Execute teardown and cleanup tasks following daily events.
  • Carry out closing responsibilities, ensuring the facility is tidy and ready for the next day.
  • Prepare areas for upcoming events through proper setups.
  • Maintain the aesthetic appeal of the facilities by adhering to assigned tasks, ensuring an attractive and functional environment for members, guests, and staff.
  • Follow the daily custodial schedule for both internal and external areas, which includes dusting, sweeping, mopping, waxing floors, cleaning windows, vacuuming, emptying trash, and sanitizing restrooms and fitness equipment.
  • Keep all custodial workspaces and storage areas organized and clean.
  • Manage inventory of supplies and equipment, notifying supervisors when replenishments are necessary.
  • Enhance skills through ongoing education and personal development to ensure technical proficiency and effective teamwork.
  • Safeguard the facility by checking and securing all entry points as required, reporting any suspicious activities to supervisors, and assisting in overall facility security.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Willingness to work late-night shifts.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proven capability to maintain adequate inventory levels.
  • Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to kneel, squat, bend, lift, climb, and stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to grasp, push, pull objects, and reach overhead.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
