The Institute for Defense Analyses (IDA) is seeking an experienced IT Systems Supervisor to oversee operations at the Center for Communications Research.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage IT personnel, including task assignments, recruitment, mentoring, and performance assessments.
- Ensure the effective operation of IT systems, managing hardware and software upkeep, documentation, user assistance, and disaster recovery protocols.
- Oversee the security of IT systems, collaborating with security teams, managing configurations, and ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.
- Facilitate system acquisition and disposal, partnering with management to define requirements, assess vendors, manage financial resources, and supervise decommissioning processes.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
Education:
A Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline.
Experience:
A minimum of ten years in the field, with at least five years in system administration and five years in IT leadership roles.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to obtain and maintain necessary IT security certifications.
Proven experience in managing IT or Information Security initiatives and teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to work flexible hours and obtain Top Secret security clearance.
