Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radar and signal processing, with the ability to design and develop advanced systems.

Salary

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $102,400 - $153,600 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing advanced systems for radar and signal processing. This includes:

  • Developing system level performance models in MATLAB or equivalent programming languages
  • Designing and modeling signal processing algorithms to implement and support various modes, such as long-range search and track Radar waveforms and electronic surveillance measure returns
  • Working with various systems, hardware, and software teams to develop and field advanced signal processing algorithms and system performance models
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline, such as Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Math, or other related technical curriculum
  • At least 5 years of related experience, or 3 years of experience with a Master's Degree
  • Experience with developing radar/RF signal processing algorithms
  • Working knowledge of systems engineering principles and processes
  • Effective communication skills
