Senior RF Systems Engineer for Advanced Radar Systems

Northrop Grumman is a leader in the development of advanced radar systems, and we are seeking a skilled Senior RF Systems Engineer to join our team. This position will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge signal processing algorithms and system performance models within the Multifunction RF space.
Key Responsibilities:
This role involves the design and modeling of signal processing algorithms to implement and support various modes, such as long-range search and track Radar waveforms and electronic surveillance measure returns. Additionally, this position requires designing models of the RF architecture and environment to determine mode performance accurately. Early in the system lifecycle, systems engineers develop parametric representations, visualizations, and data-driven analysis to support sensor requirements definition and use case validation. Throughout this process, our AMS Systems Engineers engage with customers to balance their functional and performance requirements with other sensor functionality to enable true multi-function operation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent experience. You should also have at least 9 years of related experience, with a focus on developing Radar/RF signal processing algorithms and system level performance models in MATLAB or equivalent programming/analysis languages. Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles and processes, as well as effective communication skills, are essential. The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required, and US Citizenship is necessary for this position.

Salary:
The estimated salary for this position is $127,000 - $190,600 per year, based on the job requirements and location.
