Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal/Senior Principal Systems Engineer to join our Airborne Multifunction Systems team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing advanced signal processing algorithms and system performance models within the Multifunction RF space.

About the Job:

This position is primarily engaged in designing and modeling signal processing algorithms to implement and support various modes, including long-range search and track Radar waveforms and electronic surveillance measure returns. You will also design models of the RF architecture and environment to accurately determine mode performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing parametric representations, visualizations, and data-driven analysis to support sensor requirements definition and use case validation
  • Supporting the integration of sensor modes and trackers from digital simulation environments to sensor labs to on-site fleet of specially modified test aircraft
  • Engaging with customers to balance functional and performance requirements with other sensor functionality to enable true multi-function operation
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline, such as Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Physics, with at least 5 years of related experience. Alternatively, you can have a Master's Degree with 3 years of experience. A current DoD Secret clearance is required, and the ability to obtain approval for Special Access Programs prior to starting is essential.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $102,400 - $153,600, which includes a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. U.S. Citizenship is required for most positions.
